I want to be a rock
The one that stays still
and shows the way in the stormy night
A landmark always there
when people lose track
I want to be a familiar melody
Appeasing rugged faces
I want to be the comforting smell of clean sheets in a well-known bed
The pillar supporting the roof of a family house
I want to be a house with no door and no lock
Where people come to rest after a long journey
A mountain shelter where food and warmth never miss
I want to be the reassuring blinking of a lighthouse
Always bright no matter what
The serene water of a harbour
Quiet and calm protection from the enraged waves
I want to be all of these things
When I grow up
